    • Australia's harsh sunlight, similar in intensity to the United States, makes some kind of fill lighting outdoors almost mandatory, no matter what type of camera is used.

    The Compact HMI System is a lightweight, portable, focusing lighting system designed for use by ENG and field production crews.

    It can be used anywhere on battery or mains.
    The whole system weighs less than 4kg. The Compact HMI light head can be hand held, or attached to a light stand or a camera.

    With its 8:1 spot to flood ratio at beam center, the light head is flexible enough to adapt to any type of ENG lighting situation. Both AC and DC ballasts provide square wave, flicker free operation for smooth, even lighting at any shutter speed for all types of film and CCD video cameras. Its a grip truck in a box.
